A Century of Growth and Innovation
Founded in 1894 by ten visionary local businessmen, State Bank has grown from a small-town financial institution to a cornerstone of banking in our community. Our journey has been marked by continuous innovation and unwavering commitment to our customers.
From pioneering Friday evening banking in the late 1800s to introducing cutting-edge digital services today, we've always strived to meet the evolving needs of our community. Our growth milestones include the addition of walk-up windows in 1989, the opening of our modern North Pointe Branch in 2004, and the launch of our state-of-the-art Columbia facility in 2019.
In 2020, we rebranded from State Bank of Waterloo to State Bank, reflecting our expanded reach and vision. Today, with five branches and a full suite of digital banking services, we continue to blend traditional banking values with modern financial solutions.
Throughout our history, we've remained deeply rooted in our community, supporting local initiatives, businesses, and families. As we look to the future, we remain committed to personalized service, technological advancement, and the financial success of those we serve.
Our Commitment
At State Bank, we're more than just a financial institution – we're a partner in our community's growth and success. We remain dedicated to our founding principles while embracing the future of banking, supporting you in every stage of your financial journey.
